Rynhard & Alicia

Camp Jabulani

The setting sun burned the sky with hues of gold and blues and for a few minutes I was handed a colour pallet any artist would die for.

Shooting Weddings at Camp Jabulani is always such an epic experience for me as a wedding photographer.

I am literally handed, on a silver platter, three of the most alluring and breathtaking elements to blend into a perfect picture! How blessed am I?

The setting sun burned the sky with hues of gold and blues and for a few minutes I was handed a colour pallet any artist would die for:)

Secondly on my platter I had the gentle giants of Camp Jabulani that added a definite divine element to this creation.  John Donne refers to elephants as nature's masterpiece, I will second this any day! Lastly, the most important piece - this beautiful young couple - Rynhard & Alicia.

Looking back on this day and working through these images the sense of wonder just amazed me all over again! The greatness and the beauty of love that is tangled up in natures embrace. Capturing all of this in one image -  astonishing!

I was absolutely blown away by the reception setting, the staff of Camp Jabulani did an exceptional job creating this incredible setting in the middle of the bush and family and friends joyfully celebrated the union of this beautiful couple under the African skies.

Rynhard and Alicia, Thank you so much for selecting me as your wedding photographer:) It was an amazing honour to capture and create these images for you and I hope that your life together will be filled with abundance, good fortune and may you never loose your sense of wonder.

Lots of love
