John & Joanette
Kruger National Park
Shooting weddings in the Kruger National Park is such an immense experience for any wedding photographer.
Being there in the middle of wild nature, surrounded by red earth and unravelled beauty, is a reality that can not be justified in words but needs to be felt by the soul. This is the cradle of mankind, where we all had our beginning!
The day was definitely not lacking any excitement!
It all started when a massive male baboon thought it would be a good idea to join us in the room while Joanette was busy getting ready. It was mass hysterics and at the end he was just looking for a treat and only got away with some coffee sachets. I must admit for a few seconds I felt a terrible numbness in my legs as we stared each other in the eyes. I remembered it was not a good idea to make eye contact so I just closed my eyes and hoped for the best!!
During the afternoon gamedrive we were spoiled with the most magnificent sightings and as the day slowly rolled over we cherished the most magical sunset! I used the last golden rays to create the most spectacular painting of this wonderful couple against a backdrop that will blow your mind!!
Joanette is a born and bred South African that is currently residing in the UK. It was only a few months ago that these two lovelies were introduced by a mutual friend and it was love at first sight!!! And there they were, joined by friends and family from all over celebrating this sacred union.
John & Joanette, it was a great honour and pleasure meeting you, your beautiful family and your fabulous friends! My prayer for you is heaps of love and tons of happiness.
Enjoy this beautiful memories!
Lots of love
Joe & Louise
