EVERYTHING BUT A NORMAL WEDDING CELEBRATION

A wedding filled with copious amounts of surprises and excitement!

Since the guests received their invitations there was a thrilling sensation going around, nobody new what was happening! They knew they had to fly to Cape Town and book into the Harbour Bridge Hotel, that was it! And so the guessing game started! (Just a side note, they new they were there for Pieter & Réne's wedding, so at least they packed accordingly)

It was 07h00 on the morning of 17 February and everybody came together in the lounge of the Harbour Bridge Hotel! Oh my goodness the atmosphere was bursting with excitement! I have never seen all the guests on time, dressed and ready for action!

At 08h00 the Ceres Rail Company with it's remarkable Steam locomotive arrived gracefully to collect it's passengers! The guests were absolutely blown away! They are going on a train ride! #weddinguber

The guests were spoiled with the most magnificent scenery that the Western Cape has to offer. The train came to a halt at the first stop, Idiom Wines. Idiom Wines is based in the heart of the Helderberg range, breathtakingly beautiful! The view over the ocean and the Helderberg as a backdrop created the perfect setting for Pieter & Réne's ceremony. The ceremony was a medley of moments, lots of laughter, some serious moments and a few heartfelt bits.

It was time to get on the train again, and off we went! O what a joyousness affair! People talking, laughing and celebrating this magical day!

We came to our final stop and got off at Oak Valley wines in Grabouw for a delicious lunch and further celebrations.

Pieter & Réne, thank you so much for this unbelievable experience and the opportunity to celebrate this monumental day with you! Réne you looked truly marvelous and definitely rocked the Marilyn Monroe pose when that wind came through!

I pray that your marriage be blessed with fun, laughter love and lots of happy moments!
